Jodie’s work helps leaders navigate change with power and grace, turning potential into lasting impact. Grace at Work extends that same instinct beyond the practice — meeting people at pivotal moments, where capability is given, not sold.

Coaching and developmental insight usually go to those who can already afford them. The leaders doing the hardest work in our communities are most often left out. Grace at Work closes that gap, on a simple belief: business can be a force for good — as a discipline, not a slogan.

Grace and power are not opposites. The strongest practices give with both.

Who we support — how, and why

Three channels.

One meets acute human need; two extend the practice itself. Each arrives at a critical juncture — the inflection point where change is hardest and the right support matters most.

Giving Grace

A hand up for women and families at a critical juncture.

A program of REMERGE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Atlanta, Giving Grace connects a specific need to a specific person able to meet it. Jodie’s contributions focus on women and families at a critical juncture — the moment a hand up changes everything. Giving Grace has helped more than 2,900 families: a mother who received a vehicle so she could keep getting to work, a family who moved from their car into permanent housing, a father who brought his son home from foster care.

13,000members strong — the Giving Grace community Jodie has been part of since it was under 1,000.

How it works

Why it’s here. Grace, at its most practical, is a hand up at the moment it matters most — a name in place of an abstraction. Jodie is a supporter; the program belongs to REMERGE.

Gift of Discovery

A shared discovery experience for a nonprofit leadership team or board — at no cost.

Each year, a selected nonprofit receives the opening phase of the LEVEL Framework for its leadership team or board — up to 12 participants — entirely pro bono. It gives a team a shared language for how they lead together: each person’s strengths, the patterns between them, and where the collective work goes next.

Leaders Coaching Leaders

Full pro bono executive coaching — with The Coaches’ Gift.

Complete executive coaching partnerships for nonprofit leaders who would otherwise have no access — delivered with Val Markos and VMark Consulting through The Coaches’ Gift. The same caliber of support private-sector leaders are given budget for, at no cost to the leader or their organization. Jodie has been part of this work from the start — a founding coach in the program’s first cohort.
